Between them Carlos and Elli have represented Brisbane and Australia as instructors and performers, locally, nationally and internationally in cities such as Puerto Rico, Madrid, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Sydney, New Zealand, India and Hong Kong.
 

As instructors, Carlos and Elli enjoy sharing their dance knowledge and inspiring others with their passion for dance. With a combined 15 years experience of dance instruction, performance and competition, they are a sought after dance duo.
 

With an all-round knowledge of various Latin dance styles, Salsa is Carlos and Elli's forte, depicted by a strong masculine style, coupled with feminine elegance.  They are Australia’s pioneers of acrobatic/cabaret Salsa, exhibiting amazing lifts, tricks and aerials in their routines.
 

Carlos and Elli are founders of Brisbane's premier Salsa academy, Latin Steps Dance Company. They have trained and developed some of Queensland and Australia’s key dancers and teams.
 

They are Queensland Salsa Champions 2008 and 2009 (Professional Cabaret division and teams division) and Australian Salsa Champions 2008 & 200 (cabaret division), qualifying for the ESPN World Salsa Championships.
 

They have also developed a unique style of Bachata, based on exposure to this style while living in Spain and choreographing for landmark video clips, namely Grupo Aventura's number one Bachata hit single 'Obsession' (Marbella, 2004). They are currently recognized as one of the leading names in the world of Bachata, with invitations to teach and perform at international Bachata festivals
