Latin Steps Dance Company has developed a unique course structure, based on in-depth knowledge of musicality.
The 6 week course is broken down such that it reflects the 5 phases of the musical composition of salsa.
Come along and learn more about this exciting new concept in dance interpretation.
- Beginners Salsa / Bachata: Learn the foundational elements of salsa . This course will focus on basic steps, basic partner work and some body isolations. Bachata content is also covered. No experience required.
- Level 1 Salsa / Merengue: This course builds on the salsa foundations course, equipping students with lead/follow techniques and exciting partner work. Some Merengue content is also covered.
- Level 2 Salsa/Bachata: This course builds on Level 1 Salsa. It incorporates more complex partner work and variations. Extention Bachata combos are also covered..
- Level 4 Salsa: This course builds on Level 2 Salsa. In addition to complex partner work and variations, it focuses largely on technique and styling for both men and women. Level 3 is an upper-intermediate level.
- Bachata Level 1: Learn the foundational movements and steps of Bachata. Learn to lead and follow exciting Bachata combinations.
